Theresa is bringing attention to the needs of women in this area by speaking and leading creative sessions at Christian events, retreats and Sunday services. Theresa lives in Danielson CT and worships at Green Valley Crossing where she serves as a deaconness. Her studio is The Windows Art Gallery at 112 Main Street in Putnam, CT. Her ministry and personal mission statement is #onewomanatatime# and the goal of this ministry is to bring God’s hope, help and healing to women in the surrounding northeast. One area where help is sorely needed is in housing. The northeast corner of CT that borders Massachusetts and Rhode Island has no affordable housing where women can live, heal and receive training to move forward in their lives. A worthy goal would be to purchase a business with apartments attached where women could be mentored, discipled and receive vocational services. All monies received into Red Cord Ministries are funneled into Theresa’s efforts to promote and accomplish this goal.
Red Cord Ministries and Theresa LaCasse align with the voracity and truth of Scripture believing that the Bible is the all-sufficient authority. Faith filled people are called to live a life of obedience that is filled with the love of God and that is what will be found through this ministry. In areas where we may theologically disagree let’s agree to have love prevail.
