Update and Needs
Hello Red Cord supporters! My posts have been absent but I have been very busy. Praying and really seeking how God wants to use me in the current place he has me. Most of you know I have left nursing and with that the nursing salary. God always provides and financially all is well. I have a bit more time to continue to figure out what the financial future looks like for Roland and I. At the moment it is my belief that God wants to use my painting gift to benefit myself as a new business to support my family and to promote help for the women Red Cord desires to serve. To that end I will be opening a studio and art gallery in Putnam, CT late September into early October. The studio will feature painting classes, studio space for other artists, gallery wall space to hang paintings, limited supply of fine art materials like paints, brushes and canvas, kid classes, homeschool art classes and elementary after school painting classes. I am also reaching out to local camps and RV parks for next summer season paint events. In my new studio I will be able to invite women needing mentoring and vocational services in to paint with me and explore the therapeutic effect of the arts. As soon as I get moved into my new digs in Putnam I will be reaching out to facilities in the area that have women in programs and start inviting them. As a supporter of Red Cord you can be a big help at this time by praying, praying and praying. if you are able to, you can donate to Red Cord in support of what I am doing with these women. I will not be charging these ladies so support is appreciated. See you all in Putnam for the studio opening. Watch for a date.
Blessings
